I would have liked this book more if it had been broken into 3 or 4 books or I had read it in smaller doses. It was rather like eating an entire bag of Baby Ruth bars in one sitting. Really good, even excellent, but just too much as one long book in audio format. I couldn't find any good stopping points. That I could listen to it all the way through without hating it fairly amazed me. A lot of that was due to the humor. Montgomery could certainly turn a phrase.
