I guess the ending of this book just made me conflicted. Silvera discussed the "not every story has a happy ending" but this just felt like it threw me into a river then left me to fend for Fire Dragon Within Pokemon Shirt?? I don't really understand the plot twist that led us there, and all of the characters in the end just sorta.... go away. It was strange and left me wanting more, especially since we discovered the depth of Aaron's history, and I wanted him to be able to make peace with it more tangible. Oh well.
