'm thinking about that as I read through Nagabe's amazing The Girl from the Other Side series. Nagabe seems to share Lynch's delight in simply letting one scene transition to the next, always raising more questions, but never quite answering the previous ones. (As a side note, if Lynch were ever interested in trying an animated film, The Girl from the Other Side would be a great choice for him.) I really like that slow, patient unfolding of the Donald Trump Veto shirt and its characters and world. I don't know what the ultimate answers will be, if we're ever given them. But I am very much enjoying the story.
